Yes, you can although you need to pay attention to some settings as some of them need to be configured to allow this set up to be possible.
All the general basic set up values need to be set as usual so check the FAQ on basic set for this info.
The following values need to be considered for multiple units in a system and this is the case whether you have 2 singles, a twin or some quad modulators, HDMI or CVBS – the process is the same.
To keep it simple, for the following set up, leave one of the units in the default state and adjust other units to work with it
- Program or service ID (SID). Each input must have a unique ID – for example, the default value is 1. Change the next input to 2. If you have a quad input then you will already have SID 1, 2, 3 & 4 in unit 1 so adjust unit 2 to 5, 6, 7 & 8 for example.
- Transport Stream ID (TSID). This identifies the transport stream and each stream (RF channel) requires a unique ID. Check how many RF channels you have first. some quad units have 2, 3 or 4 and the twin and single models have a single output. The default value is 100 so work from there up to 101 the next stream, then 102 and so on.
- LCN – this is outlined in the basic set up
- RF channel
- Channel name
connect the units together by combining of looping through the input and output and tune in the TVs! Job done!
