Yes, all modulators will work with most HDMI sources including SKY, Blu Ray disc players, CCTV etc.
If you have a SKY Q box though you need to make sure the resolution is set to HD (1080p) and not 4K (2160P).
If you want to have 4K (2160p) from SKY Q in some parts of the building and a modulator supplying HD (1080p) to other areas then you need a suitable scaling splitter and appropriate setup.
