The team at Antiference were delighted to be recent winners of the ‘Best Rack or Mounting Product’ category at the Smart Building Awards 2023 for the Clear Flow self-assembly media & data cabinets.
The newly launched cabinets form part of a wider range of networking products including WiFi access points and bridges, Ethernet switches and accessories.
The launch of this range of products in June 2023 was met with some interest in the industry as the market did not have a quality self-assembly media & data cabinet range on offer to the trade with so many size options available.
Space is often an issue when installing a system and especially when fitting a quality professional installation which includes a media cabinet.
Ever tried to squeeze a 600mm deep cabinet through a loft hatch? Do you find the van is already packed full before the job and there simply isn’t space for a fully assembled cabinet? Need to ship a cabinet via a courier…? These are all real problems which we can face on a daily basis and are not always easy to solve.
At Antiference, we have come a little way to helping get past some of these problems with the flat-packed, self-assembly cabinet range.
The assembly is very simple and can be carried out in around 15 mins so avoids a time-consuming build process.
Not only is the build very simple but the quality of the product is outstanding with a sturdy construction and impressive powder-coated finish, lockable glass door and clip-on removable sides.
These products are ideal for use in a data or media installation and a host of accessories are also available including equipment shelves, surge-protected PDU, CAT6 patch panel, brush & blank plates plus a 240V cooling fan.
The range offers either a 450mm or 600mm deep cabinet option with a choice of heights from 4U to 15U.
Whilst the range is already wide with options on cabinet sizes, we also have listened to market feedback and added a new model in a 6U 600mm (CF-R6L) as we are aware that some equipment is too deep for a 450mm cabinet and previously the 600mm cabinets started at 9U. You spoke, we listened! Watch this space for the availability of this new model.
It is easy to see why this is a popular option to increase the standard of the installation whilst easing the process and why these products have been welcomed by the industry for a range of applications.
